This week in the winery our 2018 vintage Sauvignon Blanc is reaching the bottle!
The bottling process starts with sterilising the glass bottles & filling them with the finished wine. After the bottle is filled, it is given a burst of nitrogen to stop any oxygen from reaching the wine and spoiling it. Finally, the bottles are capped, labelled, and put in cases.
It's been a long journey for these grapes - from being meticulously cared for in our vineyard, to watched closely in our wine cellar, and assessed by our winemakers. Now, it's finally time for our new 2018 vintage of Sauvignon Blanc to get bottled and head out to our customers around the globe.
