We are a few weeks into harvest now! The fruit we have processed so far has been in great condition, with some nice ripe Pinot Noir, Gruner Veltliner, Riesling and Pinot Gris tucked away in the winery.
This week our focus has been on hand picking our Chardonnay up the Awatere Valley with our Crossings Vineyard Manager Bruce Shipley. Normally Chardonnay grapes are a mixture of large and small however this year, Bruce has noticed there is a great balance between the two.
We are so excited to see how this years wines taste! Stay up to date with all our vintage action here.
